On one of my PC’s I am running Internet Explorer 7.0 on Vista. Internet Explorer 7.0 would not open, I would get an error message saying there is a program blocking Internet Explorer 7.0 from running.

After looking at software that has been installed, I suspected Alexa’s toolbar since that was the most recent application installed and it is a plug-in for Internet Explorer 7.0.

Once I uninstalled Alexa’s toolbar, Internet Explorer 7.0 ran with no problems.

I am not saying not to use Alexa’s toolbar, but if you run into a situaiton that Internet Explorer 7.0 does not run and you have Alexa’s toolbar installed, try uninstalling the toolbar.
