remove grub and repair windows MBR

For those that had dual boot to Linux and XP etc. and you want to go back to just using Windows boot loader you can…

Boot from Windows CD. Select repair. You will be asked for admin password for the PC. once you get to the console, type in fixmbr.

You will want to read the Microsoft Technet doc about fixmbr: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/bootcons_fixmbr.mspx?mfr=true
