Spy Sweeper, yes works very well, but is not focused on blocking SPAM. It is used to block spyware.

But that is not to say that one does not need an anit-spyware application also.. In fact everyone should have a Anit-Spyware/Anit-Virus soliution like Mcafee etc. :a)
